bridge academy centre of learning

The Bridge Academy is highly successful in progressing Year 11 learners onto Education Employment and Training (EET).

Year on year EET figures are increasing and our Not in Education Employment and Training (NEET) figures are in decline. The excellent relationships that we have with educational institutions, employment and training organisations in the borough all contribute to this success.

The in house Connexions and transition team have been proactive in coordinating careers and recruitment events whilst building strong relationships with partner agencies. This addresses the transitional barriers associated with disaffected students increasing the propensity for positive outcomes.

The William Morris Academy and Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College have been instrumental in retaining our students, maintaining and developing effective links with key personnel with the view to increasing awareness of pre-provision tailored to the needs of the students based at the Bridge Academy.

In addition, we are in communication with educational institutions, employment and training organisations outside of the borough to replicate the good relationships we already have in existence with Hammersmith and Fulham.

We endeavour to raise standards by continuing to network with new and existing providers, thus enabling us to build on our success meeting the needs of a diverse and complex client group.
