
Wherever possible we try to build a personalised offer of learning and support around our young learners. Upon arrival, our comprehensive induction programme which includes academic, attitudinal and SEN assessment helps us to build up a clear picture of our learners needs. We then produce an individual learning plan (ILP) which is reviewed on at least a termly basis by the learning guide, young learner and parent/carer. The ILP details the personalised curriculum choices that have been made in addition to stating any specific additional support such as mentoring, literacy or therapeutic services.
