At the Bridge we have a broad and varied curriculum.
At Key Stage 3 we have begun to deliver the RSA Opening Minds programme. This uses a thematic approach to deliver 5 key competencies. This has been running at the Bridge since September 2007 and is highly valued by learners and staff. In addition to Opening Minds we deliver other subjects in year 9. Since September 2009 Japanese language and culture has been introduced through Opening Minds. Japanese at the Bridge
At Key Stage 4 we offer a variety of routes to accreditation. A young learner can follow a wholly academic route and achieve up to 13 different GCSE subjects. Other routes include vocational subjects both on site or at one of our partner FE colleges.
Our curriculum is led by our Director of Learning Heather Ballantine who is supported by a highly qualified and effective team of specialist subject leaders and teachers.
At the Bridge we recruit some of the best teachers to deliver the curriculum in an innovative and exciting way to some of the most challenging learners; our results speak for themselves.
